Travel deep into the Pacific island culture on an environmental trip to Yap in Micronesia. This exciting program allows you to live in a village with local neighbors, work with local counterparts on projects that the locals determine are important, and get to know people as colleagues and friends. Yap is a perfect option for that student looking for a strong service component paired with adventure that will include diving in coral reefs and plenty of hiking. The service projects typically coordinate with local organizations, usually helping with environmental monitoring. Students will receive up to five hours of ENVR credit. This is a SELECTIVE program.
