**APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM MUST BE COMPLETED BY OCTOBER 8 AT 11:59 PM TO BE CONSIDERED.** Founded in 1909, ESSCA Business School educates students to become managers in marketing, finance, and management in an international environment. This program is designed for McColl School students. There are 3 locations available for Queens students in Summer 2020 in either Paris, Angers, or Shanghai. This description is for the Summer Program in Paris. Students will complete an internal application process for approval. Once approved, students will work with the study abroad advisor to complete a separate application with supporting documents for acceptance to the ESSCA program.* The four-week Paris summer Program at Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA) combines course instruction, corporate visits, and cultural activities. Students will take two courses during their program. Courses are as follows (subject to change at ESSCA's discretion): • International Luxury Brand Marketing (MKT 340 at Queens) • International Business Management (BUS 365 at Queens) Students applying for ESSCA Paris Summer should NOT take MKT 340 or BUS 365 at Queens as you cannot be granted credit for the same course twice. Students will receive six credits upon successful completion of the program. In addition to the courses you will be taking, there will be excursions to various cultural sites. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other international students throughout the program and there will be a welcome and farewell dinner in a cordial atmosphere for participants. Note: Exact dates for 2020 have not been confirmed. Dates listed are approximate. This is a SELECTIVE program. Minimum 2.5 GPA to apply. Must be in the McColl School to apply *Students will need to be formally accepted to ESSCA Paris after acceptance from Queens
