Founded in Angers in 1909, ESSCA is a business school ("grande école") that offers management programs for undergraduate and masters degrees. This study abroad program is designed for Business majors in their junior year and taught in English. In 1993 ESSCA opened a second campus in France’s capital city of Paris. ESSCA welcomes students in this program and offers similar courses and often the very same professors as the main campus in Angers. It is part of the Grand Paris Communauté Seine Ouest, which employs 100,000 individuals and is home to many corporate head offices. Surrounded by gardens and greenery, the building (4,400 m² over eight storeys) is located on the riverbanks of the Seine close to the Pont de Saint-Cloud subway station.
